Uses | 2,2 '-bipyridyl -4,4'-bisphosphoric acid is an organic intermediate that can be used to prepare two-dimensional proton conductive MOFs materials, etc. |
Preparation | Dissolve [2,2 '-bipyridine] -4,4'-diyl bis (phosphonate) tetraethyl ester (1.0g,2.33 mmol) in anhydrous CH2Cl2(~ 50 mL) under argon atmosphere. Bromotrimethylsilane (2.15mL,12.1mmol) was added to the solution, and the reaction was stirred at room temperature in an argon atmosphere for 3 days. The solvent was removed under vacuum and anhydrous methanol (~ 30mL) was added. The solution was stirred at room temperature for 30 minutes, methanol was removed under vacuum, and ether (~ 60mL) was added to the white solid. The suspension was stirred for 2 hours and white solids (0.74g,87%) were collected by suction filtration. 1 H NMR(400MHz,d 6 -DMSO):δ(ppm)8.85(t,2H),8.66(d,2H),7.75(dd,2H). |
